Shape and Type

Hello this project has been a great obstacle of overcoming my visual dependency with icons and nouns. I chose the word pleasure and presented it through my interpretation of pleasureful abstract shape and chose rounded shapes with repetitive movement as well as colors relating to the sacral chakra. The hardest part of this project was making everything fit on the small space I chose as well as actually making the shapes.

My second Project was a typography project where I chose the extreme and portrayed it through humans housing conditions. Extreme is a word where there is a neutral and 2 polar extremes 1 positive and 1 negative I showed this by having 3 sequences:  a Teepee catch on fire the person not having a car the other extreme was a castle where money rained from the sky and the person rolled up in a limousine The neutral was a man in a regular car in an average house drinking lemonade. This project was amazingly difficult due to the amount of buttons I used as well as The amount of time I spent making each type thing animated. Movie clips nested in Buttons nested in Movie clips inside of movie clips inside of movie clips and so on and so on. I spent a lot of time on every detail I wanted to convey.

This is my original photo I took of my friends Darrell and Adrian playing a show at Chain Reaction

I really liked the photo but when I took it the lights made them all red and I wanted to re-draw it in Flash and restore the colors from another photo I didn't like as much.

This Flash website is absolutely stunning and amazing. It is very basic ActionScript and loads smoothly its is interactive and is everything a flash website should be. It has nice alpha transitions and Movieclip symbols and is very effective with its delivery of information.

This website has no interactivity and is very basic and can be done using basic html. It is difficult to navigate and find information because there is no navigation bar, areas for specific information to be placed, links are difficult to find due to the vast amount of text colors and graphics placed randomly. This site also lacks containers like div tags and table tags according to the page source which would allow for better separation of the information.
